A Country Divided…

In addition to dealing with endemic morale and corruption issues (see my previous post), the Ukraine military – which reports to the President – also needs to deal with the mainly right wing units of the Ukrainian National Guard – which reports to the Ministry of Internal Affairs – and which has rather different objectives than those of the military.

The two sides (presumably UKR Military v UKR National Guard, though that is not specifically stated in the Lugansk Media Centre reference article below (how can that possibly work?  No wonder the country is in such a mess) clashed in a fire fight recently over disagreements regarding the Donbass border issues hammered out under the Minsk 2 agreement.

“Ukrainian troops clash with nationalists in Stanitsa Luganskaya area – LPR militia”

The Ukraine National Guard was originally formed from remnants of Ukraine Waffen SS units in the closing months of WW2 to continue the fight against the Soviet Union and has held onto its Nazi past ever since.  The distinctly Nazi Azov Battalion is just one of the National Guard units still operating (and its leader also holds a government position), and it is such units as these that the Western powers, led by the US, are mostly training and equipping today – see, among many other references:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_MrBFMH2W8

This is Western mischief the world can do well without.

A View of Ukraine From the Vineyard of The Saker

Oh my goodness!  I have just read the most logical, sensible and revealing article, I can’t praise it highly enough, on the situation of Ukraine – particularly as it pertains to matters since the 2014 Western instigated Euromaidan coup.

I thought I knew some background to all this, and the article does reach more or less the same conclusions as I have already outlined in other posts – though in much more detail than I could possibly have expressed it.  It is in the sheer amount of detail that The Saker excels here.  If you think you know what ‘Ukraine’, ‘Crimea’, the ‘Donbass’, is all about through reliance on media sources – particularly from the West – please know that you know nothing.  This article will inform you.

“The Independent Ukraine’s painful journey through the five stages of grief’

This gentlemen is, according to Ukronazi propaganda, a “defender of Europe from the Russia Asiatic hordes” – from The Saker article

I feel I must share – as well as the link to the original – some part of The Saker’s concluding remarks.  A great and worthy summary – but please don’t miss all the detail that precedes it.

“At the end of all arguments and theories, there is a crucial fact which cannot be ignored: the Euromaidan Revolution (which is what the coup against Yanukovich and the subsequent civil war in the Donbass are) has failed. In fact, it was stillborn from Day1 being built on an ideology which most Ukrainians did not share. Furthermore, this revolution alienated the most productive and richest parts of the Ukraine: the Donbass and Crimea. Next, the Urkonazi regime was soundly defeated by the Novorussian insurgents not once, but twice. Finally, by severing all economic ties with Russia, the independent Ukraine basically committed seppuku. None of that can be reversed or easily fixed.

As always, in the battle between ideology and reality the latter prevailed. The outcome of this struggle between ideology and reality was never in doubt, at least not for rational, pragmatic, people, and so the blood and tears of all those who needlessly died, were maimed or had to become refugees will forever remain on the consciences of those who started this “revolutionary fire”: the leaders of the united West.”

Ukraine Nazis

Think I am kidding when I talk about Ukraine Nazis?   Cop some of this from RT – Ukrainian nationalists celebrate birthday of Nazi collaborator Bandera with torch-lit marches.

These are the same people, rabble-roused by the CIA, who burned a number of trade unionists to death in the Maidan building a couple of years ago, which led to the ousting of the then Ukraine President, to be replaced by a US Puppet Government and the Civil War of 2014-15.

Well, it cost them the Crimea, whose people had taken enough shit from Kiev and became once again part of Russia.  It also cost them the two Eastern Provinces of Donetsk and Luhansk who seceded and formed their own Republics, fighting bravely against the hordes of these Nazi thugs.  Oh, and it cost Ukraine more than half of its army, who surrendered and handed over their weapons to the Eastern state fighters and joined more than a million of their countrymen as refugees to live in Russia.

You don’t tend to hear about these things much, or at all, in the West, do you?

US Installs Nazi Puppets

You want proof that the Ukraine government, the puppet regime installed by the US so that they (the US) could get a foot in the door to expand NATO onto more of Russia’s borders (didn’t that work out well for them), are a bunch of Nazis?  Well here it is.  But, of course, we already knew that didn’t we?  Well, I have said it often enough so we ought to do.

A member of the Ukraine parliament is caught on camera singing praises to and saluting Adolf Hitler.  See the RT report: http://on.rt.com/70jc

I wonder what the average American Joe and Jane think of the sort of company their leaders keep and befriend?  I doubt if many of them even know of these things.
