Empire Overreach And The Crash Of The US Petrodollar System

I have often said “It’s about the oil. It’s always about the oil”.   Well, nothing is ever quite that simple and while I still hold to that statement, I can see that it does not represent the whole picture surrounding the present and recent historic state of economic and military machinations conducted around our troubled world.

This article by Ronald Holland in Pravda presents some very interesting and timely thoughts on this issue and just why the US is so caught up and involved militarily, to the point of obsession, almost everywhere around the globe but especially wherever there is oil to be found: Christmas 2015: Will Syria & Iraq Become Washington’s Stalingrad?  Unlike many such articles, this one is easy to read and, to me, makes complete sense of the matter.

The writer suggests that America is looking to start a limited war  (should that be ‘another’ limited war?) somewhere to ‘gee-up’ the American people and as a diversion to obscure events that are surely coming.  I will let him explain further:

“…a war scenario will allow Washington, Wall Street and the Federal Reserve to transfer the blame for the looming death of the Petrodollar to foreign adversaries like Russia, China and Iran. This will provide political cover to a decade long recession and dramatically reduced economic growth and prosperity as the death of the petrodollar works its way through the US economy over the next few years.”

I would dearly like to quote further snippets from this piece but I would also really like for you to read it for yourself.  It is important for more and more folk to come to see the reality and reasoning behind events unfolding in these momentous times in which we live and to gain a clearer picture of things that will never be found by reading and/or watching news as it is presented for general consumption.  We need to expand the horizons of our minds above and beyond the limited sectarian views that we are fed daily by our controlled-news media.  Knowledge is power.  Thank goodness there are fearless independent journalists to provide us with that broader view.
